Wow! your vlog was interesting.. I am doing wood carving with gouges which is a slightly different form of wood working. I really liked your description of your love for art in the intro. It showed just how passionate you are about your topic and where your passion is based. I was wondering what you were considering making for your final product to present as i am deciding as well.
This is such a unique idea for a project, and I think it's awesome! It's great to see that you;re passionate about the topic as well, as it certainly adds a lot of energy to the vlog and you blog.
It's also cool to see that you're not just whittling for your project- that wooden straw had you did for Josh's birthday was pretty slick!
Very nice work you've done so far, and your vlog is great and definitely interesting (that opening clip). Your passion for art has really impressed me - not that I haven't seen the fruits of your labor before (your drawings are even better than these awesome whittling figures).
